FAQ
-
Where can I get ADA?
-
You can obtain ADA on exchanges such as Binance, the world’s largest exchange.
-
How can I increase ADA?
-
By selecting a staking pool that you want to (delegate) to, the pool operator will operate on your behalf and you will receive compensation for your contribution, such as providing funds.
-
Will my ADA be removed from my wallet while staking?
-
While staking, you do not actually transfer your ADA, but instead delegate the right to create blocks to the stake pool. Therefore, your ADA will not disappear from your wallet.
-
Is there a fee for staking?
-
There is a deposit fee of 2 ADA and some transaction fees. When you unstake, the 2 ADA deposit fee will be refunded.
-
Can my ADA be stolen while staking with a pool?
-
When you own ADA, you have the right and obligation to participate in the protocol by creating blocks, as well as using it as a currency to purchase goods and services. These two purposes are separated by the delegation mechanism. By staking ADA, you are delegating the right and obligation to create blocks to the pool operator, so your ADA cannot be stolen.
-
When can I receive rewards?
-
Rewards are paid every 1 epoch (5 days). For example, if you delegated at epoch 261, the actual delegation starts at epoch 263, and you will be eligible to receive rewards from that point on. The first reward will be generated after 1 epoch, so if you delegated at epoch 261, the first reward will be received at epoch 264. After the initial reward, subsequent rewards will be generated every 5 days, assuming that you do not withdraw your stake.
-
Can I withdraw my delegation at any time?
-
Yes, you can withdraw your delegation at any time and transfer your funds to another wallet.
-
What is the delegation reward rate?
-
The delegation reward rate is approximately 5% per year.
-
Do I need to keep my PC running for staking?
-
No, you do not need to keep your PC running after delegation. You can turn off your PC without any issues.
-
Do I need to set up delegation again if I want to delegate to the same pool?
-
If you want to delegate to the same pool, you do not need to set it up again. The system will automatically select the same pool for you if you do not make any changes to your settings.
